CONTENTS OF PANEL

1. Linguistics

-     Application of new linguistic theories in the world in studying the Vietnamese language and the ethnic minority languages;

-     The Vietnamese language under the impacts of industrialization, modernization, urbanization, migration and international integration;

-     Relationship between language and culture, studying the cultural characteristics - national thinking expressed through language;

-     Preserving the purity and development of the Vietnamese language in association with standardizing the Vietnamese in the context of international integration and the 4.0 revolution;

-     Preserving and promoting the roles and identities of the ethnic minority languages to contribute to the sustainable development of the country in the new context;

-     Applied linguistics, language teaching in schools, teaching Vietnamese as a foreign language, etc. in the context of international integration.

2. Literature

-     Contribution of Vietnamese literature (from folk literature to contemporary literature; domestic literature and literature by overseas Vietnamese ) to the process of national renewal and modernization;

-     Ethnic minority literature: development process, writers, prominent trends; the national - ethnic relationship; cultural identity, cultural and literary interaction, etc.

-     International integration and national identity in Vietnamese literature (the impacts of globalization on literature; cultural and literature exchange; issues of building the character and soul carrying the Vietnamese identity, etc.);

-     Translated literature: development process; market for translated literature, literature exchange and promotion; practice and policy; etc.

-     Application of modern theories and methods into Vietnamese literary research (the influence of modernism and postmodernism);

-     Literature teaching in the industry 4.0 era.
