VNU joins Hanoi capital in speeding up Covid-19 vaccinations
On August 14, 2021, at the mobile Covid-19 vaccination site set up at the gymnasium of VNU University of Languages and International Studies, Cau Giay District Medical Center in collaboration with Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) and other authorities implemented Covid-19 vaccination for the district residents.

VNU Hospital doctors along with the medical team and functional forces of Cau Giay District deployed 3 vaccination lines and an emergency resuscitation team to ensure the prescribed vaccination conditions.

Leaders of Cau Giay District have directed its relevant units to notify the time and place of vaccination so that the local residents can join the vaccination on time to maintain the social distancing mandates as well as to allow a required waiting period after getting the shot.

The organization of mobile vaccination is a practical and timely activity of the district health agency and VNU in order to speed up Covid-19 vaccinations for all people aged 18 and above in the district based on the number of vaccine doses granted by the Ministry of Health with vaccination priority given to the specified groups. The getting of residents vaccinated against covid-19 contributes to the capital's determination to lock down the "red zones" (epidemic areas) to fully protect the "green zones", thereby expanding the green areas to curb the covid-19 epidemic.

Doctor Pham Quang Tue from VNU University of Medicine and Pharmacy said that, in the context of the increasingly complex and unpredictable Covid-19 epidemic, having a vaccine and getting vaccinated for Covid-19 are really good luck. Doctor Tue advised everyone to get vaccinated as soon as they have the opportunity, whether at a mobile vaccination site, at a hospital or at other relevant medical facilities. During the screening process at the vaccination sites, doctors will provide consultation to ensure safety for all residents in accordance with the guidance of the Ministry of Health.
