THE Asia University Rankings 2022: VNU ranked first among Vietnamese higher education institutions in Teaching

Four other Vietnamese higher education institutions were also featured in the THE Asia University Rankings 2022, namely Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Ton Duc Thang University, and Duy Tan University.

The Times Higher Education Asia Universities Rankings 2022 used the 13 performance indicators grouped into five areas: Teaching (30%), Research (30%), Citations (30%), Industry income (7.5%), and International outlook (7.5%).

VNU achieved the highest score in Teaching (the learning environment, 22.3 points), while Citations was the strength of Ton Duc Thang University and Duy Tan University; VNU, Ho Chi Minh City maintained its strength in Industry income.

This year, the THE rankings evaluated 616 institutions from 30 Asian countries and territories.
