With the support and participation of associations and business partners, VNU is committed to effectively operating VNU Industry Collaboration Hub and Executive Board of VNU Entrepreneur Alumni Club. This is also an opportunity for the business community to expand its image, brand and activities nationally, regionally and globally. VNU always welcomes entrepreneur alumni, domestic and foreign enterprises to participate in the activities of VNU's innovative business ecosystem, making joint contributions to the development of Vietnam's higher education innovation and the country's development.

VNU Industry Collaboration Hub - A platform to support and promote the development of the business community

On June 29, 2022, VNU President signed and promulgated Decision No. 2188/QD-DHQGHN approving the establishing of VNU Industry Collaboration Hub at https://vic.vnu.edu.vn/. The Hub was established to concretize the guidelines and policies of the Party and State and implement the development strategy of VNU until 2030, vision to 2045, in which the priorities are given to economy, culture, society and human development in general and the business ecosystem in particular.

The establishment of VNU Industry Collaboration Hub aims to promote two-way transfer. On the one hand, VIC helps liberate resources within VNU in association with the responsibility of community serving; on the other hand, it attracts resources from the business community for training activities, scientific research, technology transfer, start-up, innovation and human resource development of the parties.

In addition, VNU Industry Collaboration Hub, with its advantage of international cooperation in higher education and science & technology, also acts as a network connecting newly formed businesses, senior enterprises, R&D, Think Tank, etc. with the innovation ecosystem of VNU; brings together a team of scientists, experts, entrepreneurs and individuals interested in business starting up. With strong connectivity, global knowledge-intensive level and multi-disciplinary nature, VIC helps raise the level of internationalization for the Vietnamese business community for it to innovate to adapt to the Industrial Revolution 4.0.

The main connection axes of the Industry Collaboration Hub include: (1) Connecting to develop human resources for enterprises, improving corporate governance capacity; (2) Connecting to develop business support services; (3) Connecting to promote entrepreneurship, innovation, science & technology application, technology incubation, science & technology business incubation; (4) Connecting to attract and promote investment; (5) Connecting to support VNU and other universities to develop.

With 5 main activity pillars, VNU aims to develop VIC into a convergence of the business community in order to create resonant values for the community itself and society with the action slogan “Connecting businesses, sharing opportunities to develop the future”.

Launching the Executive Board of VNU Entrepreneur Alumni Club

On the same day, VNU launched the Executive Board of VNU Entrepreneur Alumni Club with 28 members, outstanding alumni, who have been contributing and joining efforts for VNU’s sustainable development.

The Executive Board of VNU Entrepreneur Alumni Club was established under Decision No. 1892/QD-DHQGHN dated June 8, 2022. In the spirit of "Joining hands for development", the Alumni Club will be the place to connect generations of VNU’s alumni - intellectual entrepreneurs to accompany and contribute to the development of VNU.
