11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis
Firstly, the thesis contributes to clarify the role of agricultural subsidies for economic development, political and social issues of the States including Vietnam.
Secondly, on the basis of the general theory of international law, the thesis contributes to highlight the contents of the regulations on agricultural subsidies in accordance with the WTO’s Agreement on Agriculture, the GATT 1994 and the Agreement on Subsidies and Countervailing Measures; study and research Vietnam's agricultural subsidy policy in the period before and after WTO’s accession of Vietnam.
Thirdly, the thesis proposes a theoretical basis to formulate and complete the Vietnamese laws on agricultural subsidies and advise a draft Law on Vietnamese agricultural subsidies.
