The dissertation approaches the study issue from the perspective of cultural explanation and cultural ecology in Medical Anthropology and based on the analytical framework of Migration - Health to analyze the reproductive health care of women. Tay and Nung in Van Quan district working across the Vietnam-China border. Accordingly, health and healthcare issues are viewed from a socio-cultural perspective, placed in the pluralistic health system and in a cross-border context.

Not only when living in the border, but in the process of working across borders, female workers also have problems and need for reproductive health care. However, they face many limitations stemming from working and living conditions, as well as barriers in psychology, language and legal status. The reproductive health network of women working in China has structural gaps that make them dependent on Chinese brokers or owners.

Reproductive health care of women working across the Vietnam - China border has not received attention to receive support (special policy) from the authorities as well as unions and organizations.
