11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis: Systematize the theoretical basis of financial capacity and factors affecting the financial capacity of small and medium enterprises; Identify the criteria to measure the financial capacity of Vietnam’s small and medium enterprises; Develop a model to analyze the impacts of factors on the financial capacity of Vietnam’s small and medium enterprises.

12. Practical applicability: The research results help to determine the impact of factors on the financial capacity of Vietnam’s small and medium enterprises; compare the different characteristics of financial capacity of Vietnam’s small and medium enterprises. Accordingly, several recommendations for businesses and regulatory agencies are proposed in order to enhance the financial capacity of Vietnam’s small and medium enterprises.

* About content:

- Expanding influencing factors: human resource factors, enterprise technology or macro environmental factors, industry environment, etc.

- Expanding the indicators to measure the financial performance of enterprises: ROS, ROCE, CPR or Z-score criteria if studying about equitized enterprises.

* About the method:

- The research sample of 400 enterprises in the 5-year period from 2015 to 2019 as in the thesis, although it has met the requirements, is not a large number, especially the time field can be extended to 10 years. In addition, the information fields are collected from secondary data sources of the General Statistics Office, so there are many limitations when it is not possible to obtain more accurate data (for example, the ratio of export revenue to total revenue). revenue, share price for joint stock enterprises, etc.)

- Data collection method: Improved by direct survey or interview with enterprises combined with the current secondary data collection method.
