(ii) The results of the thesis proved that professional standards have influenced teachers' perceptions on teacher qualities and professional competencies, from changing their perceptions of their own behavior, then leading to orientations for self-training activities as required by professional standards,  as follows:

- Professional standards have changed the perception of teacher qualities of public school teachers in Dong Da district. This aligned with the results of professional standard assessment, the good level accounted for the highest proportion (64.2%), the low rate (5.7%).

- Preschool teachers' perceptions of professional competencies have been changed at different levels, ranging along professional development, the creation  of educational environment, the development of relationships among school, families and communities, the use of foreign languages (ethnic languages), IT applications,  artistic ability in young activities. This was confirmed by the results of the interview. Teachers have actively innovated child nurturing/health care and education activities, meeting the different developmental needs of children in accordance with the practical conditions of the school/class; At the same time, teachers paid more attention to build a cohesive and sustainable relationship between families and schools, mobilizing the coordination of children's parents in nurturing, caring and educating children. Teachers have taken advantages of technology, in child education care.

- The results of the study showed that teachers planed specific activities for professional self-training activities, got the school board approvals, then organizes professional activities with the teachers' council to approve the plan and discuss curriculum; observed other teachers, learn from experience to identify areas for further growth.

- The results of the study showed that those factors such as training level, seniority, and training did not affect the perception of professional qualities and competencies of the preschool teachers, but there was a difference between the group of teachers with good and satisfactory rated standards and average ones,  and the results also showed that intensive training courses on how to collect evidence had positive effect on the perception of the preschool teachers.
