11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis

The thesis has clarified the benefits of Vietnam, advantages and disadvantages of enterprises when investing in Cambodia; analyzed the main factors affecting the direct investment of Vietnamese enterprises into Cambodia from three sides: Vietnam, Cambodia, and China; evaluated the investment results of Vietnamese enterprises in Cambodia, thereby, pointing out the causes of existence and limitations; forecasted the economic and political context in the coming time to propose appropriate policies to promote investment of Vietnamese enterprises in Cambodia.

12. Paratical applicability, if any:

The thesis has drawn a number of valuable policy suggestions to promote outward foreign direct investment from Vietnamese enterprises into Cambodia.

Further researching China's foreign direct investment in Cambodia, thereby assessing the impact on Vietnamese enterprises by each location and field, especially related to Vietnam border security.
