11. Summary of new findings of the thesis:

- The thesis is aimed to clarify the concept of "sense", "artistic sense" and "post-war sense".

- The thesis provides a systematic analysis of Vietnamese novels in the post-war period with prominent writers such as: Chu Lai, Bao Ninh, Trung Trung Dinh, Nguyen Tri Huan, Khuat Quang Thuy.

- The thesis is aimed to analyze and explain the post-war feelings from a realistic view of the war and human life, from the sequels and injuries left after the war through the art of expression: space - time, point of view, persons of narration, and the art of character building.

12. Practical applicability, if any:

- The results of the thesis is expected to help the teaching and learning of Vietnamese literature after 1986 at high school and university levels.

13. Further research directions, if any:

- This topic opens up the problem of comparing the post-war feelings presented in Vietnamese novels with the post-war feelings in world literature (with the works of Solokhov, Hemingway, Wladyslaw Szpilman...) or comparing pre-war feelings with post-war feelings and psychological trauma in Vietnamese literature.
