11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

- The thesis provides and analyzes the theoretical and practical basis for the formation and birth of the BRI, thereby assessing the nature of its objectives and the feasibility to implement programs and items for connection and inter-regional cooperation of this initiative.

- Through the analysis and evaluation of the content, key tasks, core goals and implementation process of the BRI, the thesis clarifies China's global strategy in this Initiative.

- With the data and results of BRI implementation after nearly 10 years of establishment, the thesis contributes to a more accurate explanation of China's synergy, international position and prestige, and also forecasts the development prospects of this initiative in the future. This is a meaningful task that complements the overall assessment of China's path of national modernization and renaissance, both in terms of theoretical and positivist research.

- The thesis has also systematically evaluated the stance, the process of participation and problems posed for Vietnam when participating in the BRI.

- On the basis of scientific analysis, the thesis has also assessed the problems posed to Vietnam and suggestions for Vietnam’s behaviour and work related to the BRI.

12. Practical applicability, if any:

- The research results are valuable references for executive agencies in the process of advising leaders of the Party, State and the Ministry of Public Security to set guidelines and policies for domestic and foreign affairs and protect legitimate national security interests, in the context of China strongly promoting the implementation of the BRI and mobilizing many countries, including Vietnam, to participate.

- The results of the study can be used as a reference for research, training and teaching on the current state of the region, the world, international relations and China's development strategy.

- The results also provide more useful data for businesses that are doing or will do business with China, in items related to the BRI and projects outside the BRI, especially in the field of infrastructure investment, commercial exchange and financial connectivity.

13. Further research direction, if any: Continuing research on the Belt and Road Initiative in the coming period.
