Frachhoschule Stralsund, University of Applied Sciences was founded in 1991. The profile of the University of Applied Sciences, Stralsund is young and dynamic. The three schools are: Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Business Studies, Mechanical Engineering. The scientists at the University of Applied Sciences, Stralsund, deal with both teaching and applied research. With regard to their research, they work closely with regional companies and institutions in order to establish common fields for research and development. Their research mainly focuses on specific fields of engineering and business which, on the one hand, allow a reasonably broad range, an interdisciplinary approach and complexity within a certain field, and which, on the other hand, are the basis for practice orientation and recognized co-operation.
