* First time in Vietnam, Lactic acid has been synthesized by fermentation Vietnam cassava
Investigation has definited influence of average molecular weight of oligomer acid lactic to synthesize lactide.
* First time in Vietnam has synthesized successful PLA wich was high molecular weight : difinited impact conditions to process ring opening polymerization prepare PLA using octanoate tin make catalysis.
- Investigation relation between structure and properties of PLA
* First time has studied kinetics process degradation hydrolysis and analytic product disintegrate of PLA. Degradation of PLA environmetal soil, water. The impact of soil microorganism to degradation process của PLA has evaluetd carefully.
12. Practical applicability, if any: plastic piece, film, packing degradable to take the place of packing nondegradable now. Graft material tissue, drug delivery system, suture material…
13. Further research directions, if any: Synthesis of new polymers and copolymers, polymer blend, polymernanocomposite.
