11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
1). Systematize the basic views on the quality management in higher education. Clarify the concept: The quality management is the management toward a standardized, maintained way for things in stable and growing state including three activities conducted simultaneously and continuously: Establishing goals and standards; Evaluating the actual situation against the standard; Improving the situation to the standard.
2). Clarify the characteristics of specialized subjects teaching and learning process at the university of foreign languages.
3). Analysis the choice of quality management levels being suitable with foreign languages university in Vietnam, now called the quality assurance effecting to certain elements of the philosophy of total quality management.
4). Clarify the concept, structure, operation mechanism of the quality assurance system in universities in general, the quality assurance system of teaching specialized subjects at the university of foreign languages in particular.
5). Survey, analyse and assess of the situation to ensure the quality of teaching specialized subjects at the university of foreign languages.
6). Propose six steps to build and operate systems to ensure quality of teaching specialized subjects at the university of foreign languages include: Identify areas for management of the system; Build process for each sector management; Build standards, evaluation criteria for each field of management; Operate  system; Evaluate system; Adjust and perfect the system.
7). Propose teaching - learning specialized subjects process at the university of foreign languages.
8). Survey results given by specialists express steps to build and operate quality assurance systems of teaching – learning process that the thesis proposed was reasonable and affirmed the urgency and feasibility of applying the quality assurance system of teaching specialized subjects in the current conditions of the foreign language university.
9). Test results confirmed that the feasibility and effectiveness from applying the teaching - learning process that the thesis proposed for specialized subjects teaching – learning process at the university of foreign languages.
12. Practical applicability:
The achievements of research are capable for practical application in the teaching – learning process in approaching to quality management for specialized subjects at the university of foreign languages and universities trained foreign language students. The thesis has an urgent significance to contribute to the implementation of the State policy in education management from the traditional way of management to the quality management.
13. Further research directions:
The results of the research suggest many possibilities, and further researches in building quality  assurance systems of the field of university management, such as training management, team management, student management, research management, financial management ...
