11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
 - Clarifying and diversifying the argument of Vocational Education for High School Students (VEHSS), implementing VEHSS activities associated with Society-Economy; comprehensively studying on VEHSS and experiences of other countries in this issue. Especially, The thesis highlighted the concepts namely: Comprehensive engineering education and career guidance education; vocation and vocational education; vocation for high school students and VEHSS activities; Organization and organizing VEHSS activities. Affirming the superiority of center for General Engineering and Career Guidance (GECG) with VEHSS activities in the conditions of Viet Nam, which there have remained different opinions.
- Establishing the integrated process of career guidance and VEHSS activities (reaching the double targets). This new contribution is considered special significance because it helps students to be aware of the essentiality of VEHSS activities and motivated to study better, avoiding learning passively that causes dissipation for students and the society.
- Establishing the coordination between the high school, GECG and enterprises in implementing VEHSS activities, including "legal mechanism" - "emotional mechanism" and "professional and territorial mechanism".
- Clarifying the situation of VEHSS activities implementation associated with Society-Economy in the SCC; especially, asserting eight causes of the inadequate quality of VEHSS activities of SCC.
- Proposing the solutions to implementing VEHSS activities associated with Society-Economy SCC with purposes, contents and particular and detailed steps for implementation to facilitate manager of VEHSS activities to receive and implement those solutions. Especially new contributions namely: (1) Proposing managing regulations for students to practice VEHSS activities associated with Society-Economy in the SCC; (2) combining 2 practicing classes into one to learn theory, (3) integrating career guidance into VEHSS activities, (4) new score scale for VEHSS practice (including criteria of industrial manners, safety, environmental sanitation) and (5) establishing program catalogue of 9 VEHSS associated with Society-Economy in the SCC.
12. Practical applicability, if any:
The thesis can be used as a reference for all levels of educational management, teachers and staff of CGECG as well as high schools and other education establishments implementing VEHSS in the SCC. This result also enables the Ministry of Education and Training has the basis to innovate the VEHSS program associated with Society-Economy in each region, contributing to enhance the quality of VEHSS activities, classifying students after high school and raising the quality of human resources in the new context.
