11. Summary of the new findings of the dissertation:

- As a systematic and uniformed research on theoretical and practical aspects of sexual assault crimes in the criminal law of Viet Nam, this dissertation has achieved the following results:

- It formed the theoretical basics for sexual assault crimes, including: the scientific concepts, identifying features of sexual assault crimes the crimial law of Viet nam.

- It systematized the developing regulations of sexual assault crimes in the criminal law of Viet Nam from feudalism to now. It also compared these regulations of criminal law in Viet Nam and other countries in the world in order to inherit and get legislative experiences.

- It also analysized the contents of sexual assault crimes in the criminal law of Viet Nam in 1999 to assess the existences, limitations and practical applications in 12 years (from 2006 to 2017). On that basis, it pointed out the causes of these problems.

- It assessed the innovations, progressions and indicated the problems that still exist  in the regulations of sexual assault crimes in the criminal law of Viet Nam in 2015.

- It proposed legislative model for sexual assault crimes to further reform, supplement and complete these regulations in the criminal law of Viet Nam in 2015.

- On the basis of analysing the limitation causes in practical application, the dissertation proposes some solutions to improve the efficiency applications of sexual assualt crimes in the criminal law of Viet Nam.

12. Application feasibility:

The findings of this dissertation can be used to serve for practical trial, solve correctly cases of sexual assault crimes ensuring the right person, right crime and right law.

The recommedations of the dissertation can be used effectively for legislative work as well as the applicative law in our country in the current period to fight against this crime effiently.

In addition, the study will be a reference for scientists, lawyers, lecturers, gradute students, students in major of Criminal Justise in tertiary education.

- Protecting the personal freedom of sexual rights in criminal law.

- Struggle against sexual crimes.
