11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

- Covering important theoretical matters and the literature review of studying Japanese aesthetic in general and aware aesthetic in The Tale of Genji and Thousand Cranes in particular.

- Pointing out the development of aesthetics in ancient and modern times and a new approach to aesthetics through literature and vice versa.

- Clarifying the basic and inheritance characteristics of aware aesthetics in The Tale of Genji and Thousand Cranes and pointing out deeply affecting of aware aesthetics in literary life from the past to the modern time.

- Indicating innovations of aware aesthetics by comparing the case of the The Tale of Genji and Thousand Cranes and showing the Kawabata's ingeniousness variable in his absorption of Japanese culture reflecting aware aesthetics in Thousand Cranes.

12. Practical applicability, if any:

The research results can be used to compile references in this field for students of foreign literature.
