- Clarified the theoretical and practical framework for assessing the role of Cam Ranh Bay in Vietnam's external relations.

- Affirmed the role of Cam Ranh Bay in Vietnam's external relations through the relationships between Vietnam and great powers such as Russia, USA, India and Japan.

- Identified and analyzed Vietnam’s policy towards Cam Ranh from 2002 to present

- Analyzed the implementation of Cam Ranh policy of Vietnam through it’s cooperation with the great powers.

- Pointed out the macro-level results that Vietnam has achieved in implementing the Cam Ranh policy.

- Assessed the advantages and challenges that may affect the effectiveness of promoting international cooperation in Cam Ranh bay.
