11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

The thesis is the first independent and representative scientific research in Vietnam on the study of comparison of urban CLCS at the level of two cities in the same region of Southeast Asia, namely Bangkok and Hanoi. Research results of the thesis will contribute to clarify theoretical issues related to CLCS in general and CLCS in cities / urban in particular.

The dissertation also clarified the situation of CLCS in Hanoi and Bangkok, stating the advantages and disadvantages, and the recommendations and lessons needed for the improvement of CLCS among people in Hanoi.

12. Practical applicability, if any:

The thesis has provided scientific data and arguments for three specific indicators of CLCS (Economic - Political, Cultural - Social, Natural Environment, Housing and Urban Services) of Hanoi and Bangkok cities. The research results of the thesis are a useful reference source for leaders and managers, urban development policy makers. In addition, the thesis is also a valuable reference for Southeast Asian Southeast Asian researchers and educators.

Besides, the thesis also contributes to raising awareness and awareness about improving CLCS of the community, people in each city to make life better and more sustainable. Hopefully, in the future, Bangkok and Hanoi can become sustainable and modern cities with their own identity in the region, becoming a living place for many people in the country and the world.

13. Further research directions, if any:

In the direction of research on CLCS city/ urban, from the topic has been implemented, can continue to study with other cities in Southeast Asia such as Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Manila, etc. From there, we will have a comprehensive view of CLCS in cities / urban in Southeast Asia. From the results of such research, it is possible to provide orientations for the ASEAN Community's economic-cultural-social development effectively and effectively contribute to the objectives of the Cultural Community - ASEAN society is: "... building a society that shares, embraces, harmonizes and expands where people's lives, living standards and well-being are enhanced" [ASEAN Vietnam Portal, 2018].
