6. Changes in academic process

Thesis title has been assigned as: “Improving the role of the National Assembly in building a socialist rule-of-law state in Vietnam” according to the Decision No.430/QĐ-XHNV, dated 16/02/2016 by Rector of The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

After being consulted by the Thesis Assessment Council of the Subject Unit, the thesis title has been changed to: “The role of the National Assembly in the process of building a socialist rule-of-law state in Vietnam today” according to the Decision No.2494/QĐ-XHNV, dated 4/10/2017 by Rector of The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

After being defensed at the Department Thesis Assessment Council, the title has been changed to: “The role of the National Assembly in building a socialist rule-of-law state in Vietnam today” according to the Decision No.05/QĐ-XHVN, dated 02/01/2019 by Rector of The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis

- The thesis clarifies the characteristics and nature of the rule-of-law State and the Socialist rule-of-law State in Vietnam.

- The thesis clarifies the contents of building a socialist rule-of-law state in Vietnam.

- The thesis systematically examines the role of the National Assembly in building a socialist rule-of-law State in Vietnam.

- Based on the analysis of the actual practice of the role of the National Assembly in the building the socialist rule-of-law State in Vietnam, the thesis has made feasible solutions to promote the role of the National Assembly in building a socialist rule-of-law State in Vietnam at present.

12. The applicability of research findings:

Research results contribute significantly to clarifying the role of the National Assembly in building a socialist rule-of-law state in Vietnam today. At the same time, the thesis could be used as a reference for researching, teaching about the law-of-rule State, the Socialist rule-of-law State in Vietnam today.
