11. Summary of the results of the thesis:

   To study about the use of  information technology in supporting the teaching and learning of Chinese process at universities in Vietnam, we conducted a survey classroom observations, interviews then analyzed in detail the current situation of teaching Chinese  listening and speaking skills with the support of information technology at 3 large universities in Vietnam, which are University of Foreign Languages ​​- Hanoi National University, Hue University of Foreign Languages ​​and Foreign Trade University. Data collected will be used to assess the impact of information technology application in teaching Chinese speaking and listening skills for Vietnamese students. We will use a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods in the research process. Based on the results, we find that the method of teaching and learning Chinese listening and speaking skills with the help of information technology needs to be improved. Therefore, we have made some suggestions to improve the quality of teaching and learning. Specifically, we come up with four recommendations, related to principles of teaching Chinese speaking and listening skills with the support of information technology, information technology teaching theory, Chinese speaking and listening activities through information technology and Chinese speaking and listening teaching model with information technology.

12. Applicability

      The research results can provide practical suggestions for multimedia applications, which not only benefit the current multimedia-assisted Chinese listening and speaking teaching but also enabling teachers and students to obtain more effective Chinese listening and speaking teaching and learning methods. The author hopes to contribute to improve the listening and speaking skills of Chinese learners and promote the development of teaching Chinese. The author believes that with the accumulation of Chinese teachers' theory and practical experience, multimedia-assisted Chinese teaching will yield fruitful results.
