11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

The thesis reappears on the main features of the historical context, content, the process of implementing foreign policy under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the 2001-2015 period.

- Through a comprehensive and systematic study, both theoretically and practically, directing the external activities of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the 2001-2015 period, the thesis confirms the achievements, points out the limitations and summarizes the Party's initial experiences in leading foreign affairs in this period, in order to keep the renewal and strengthen the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam on foreign affairs in the next period.

- The results of the thesis make an important contribution to the provision of scientific arguments to clarify the theoretical issues and practice of renewing the Party's leadership on foreign affairs in Vietnam. On the other hand, these will be contributions to the implementation of the Party's policy on summarizing theories and practices of the renovation period. Summary of the process of renewing the theoretical thinking as well as the theory of the ruling party in new historical conditions ...

- The thesis can be used as a reference for researching and teaching the contents of the Party's History, about international relations and foreign policy of the Party. At the same time, the thesis also contributes to improving the knowledge of the foreign affairs staff, the activities of disseminating the Party's policies, guidelines and policies in the field of foreign affairs in schools.
