- Building theoretical framework for the concept international cooperation from the base of Social Constructivism in International Relations studies including: Social structure and National identity; Norms in International relations; National interests and International institutions; Foreign policy making process; The values of trust in international cooperation; Institutionalized in international cooperation.

- Generalize of cooperating activities in the region of South China sea in the early 21st century.

- Analyzing and examining elements impacting on cooperation process in South China sea including internal and external actors of the region.

- Analyzing and examining some paradigms of cooperation in the early 21st century in the region.

- Suggesting some possibilities for cooperation in South China sea in contemporary era.

12. Practical applicability:

- The thesis would be a reference source for theoretical studying in international relations studies as well as Social constructivism by delivering a system of theoretical and practical criteria for examining cooperation process in South China sea.
