11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

11.1. Contribution of the thesis on theory

Firstly, systematize the theoretical basis of CSR in SOEs and the relationship between CSR and organizational citizenship (OCB) behavior and employee satisfaction in particular, putting these theoretical issues into a new research context scene. In the previous studies, the author found that there was no research direction on CSR in SOEs and focused on the relationship between CSR and organizational citizenship behavior and employee satisfaction in the SOEs with the direction of the thesis, therefore theoretical basis is considered as a new contribution to the research orientation in Vietnam context.

Secondly, building and verifying a research model from the previous studies related to the relationship between CSR and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and employee satisfaction. The scales in the study were collected, adjusted, supplemented and tested for reliability in Vietnamese conditions. This is also a new point in the author's research to supplement and improve theoretically for the research field on CSR and organizational behavior.

11.2. The thesis's contribution to practice

In addition to theoretical contributions, the thesis also has practical contributions, shown in the following aspects:

Firstly, analyzed and clarified the general overview of  SOEs in Vietnam and the issues of CSR in SOEs.

Secondly, determined how CSR is being implemented in a case study of Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group. This finding has practical significance for the enterprises in the Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group which they can have solutions to improve the implementation of CSR in the future.

Thirdly, verified the relationship between CSR and organizational citizenship behavior and job satisfaction of employees in enterprises of Vietnam Textile and Garment Group.

12. Practical applicability:

This study also provides further evidence on the relationship between CSR and OCB. This suggests solutions for textile enterprises in particular and Vietnamese enterprises in general in having appropriate solutions to promote CSR.

The thesis adds to the system of research on CSR in the SOE sector which is still very empty in Vietnam and provides a case study of CSR in the textile industry.

The research results of the thesis are valuable for reference for State management agencies, for Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group and for other enterprises in the field.

13. Further research orientations:

Future research on CSR in SOEs can focus on the following directions:

Firstly, expand the research model

Further studies may add more variables in the research model to more comprehensively examine the relationships between CSR and other behavioral variables. In studies of organizational behavior, variables such as employee engagement and turnover rate may also be considered to get a more comprehensive picture of the influence of CSR on employee behavior. In addition, some variables that regulate the relationship between CSR and employee satisfaction can be considered such as corporate culture, corporate entrepreneurship.

Secondly, expanding the research sample

The research sample can be extended to SOEs in other industries and fields to be able to analyze more comprehensively the issue of CSR in SOEs. Studies on CSR in the SOE sector in Vietnam are still limited and not comprehensive.

In particular, comparative studies on CSR in SOEs between different industries and fields have not been studied. Therefore, the expansion of comparative research to different industries will help to supplement meaningful research results, contributing to providing solutions to promote CSR in the SOE sector.

Thirdly, expand the scope of research

The scope of research on CSR in SOEs can be extended to other groups of businesses to compare with other business sectors in the economy such as private enterprises, foreign-invested enterprises.

CSR is a broad research topic, relevant to all industries and different economic sectors. Therefore, comparative studies will be meaningful, helping to find out the different or similar factors in the implementation of CSR among different groups of enterprises, thereby suggesting interdisciplinary and inter-regional solutions. and overall for the entire economy. This research direction will create a premise for promoting CSR in the whole economy, contributing to promoting the implementation of Vietnam's sustainable development goals.
