- Summarize and systematically evaluate Vietnam's viewpoints and policies in the use of cultural diplomacy - an important factor in Vietnam's foreign policy in the innovation period.
- Analyze Vietnam's cultural diplomacy (2001-2016), to contribute to the theoretical verification of the role of cultural diplomacy as an important tool of Vietnam's soft power in modern international relations.

- Contribute to propose recommendations to promote and improve the efficiency of cultural diplomacy in Vietnam in the coming time.
