11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

- Presenting major findings collected from previously published related studies, and then point out some unsolved problems, which leave a gap for the study to fill in. 

- Giving a careful analysis of Ho Chi Minh’s ideologies on social policies.

- Investigating the strengths and weaknesses of the implementation of social policies in Vietnam’s northern provinces during the period of 2011-2020 as well as presenting the problems and the causes for the current situation. 

- Proposing some recommendations on improving the implementation of social policies in Vietnam’s northern provinces according to Ho Chi Minh’s ideologies.

12. Practical applicability: The obtained results of the thesis can be used as a reference in the research of Ho Chi Minh's ideology. At the same time, the thesis contributes to providing a theoretical basis for the improvement of policies and implementation of social policy in the Northern mountainous provinces in the future.
