11. Summary of new findings of the thesis:

Theoretically: The thesis proves the irreversible trend in the development of the Mining industry and its IT field under the impact of Industry 4.0: either losing competitiveness or having to apply the achievements of Industry 4.0 on the basis of enhancing endogenous capacity for development; Applying the national innovation system approach, policy analysis and evaluation approach to build the IT policy framework of the Mining industry in the context of Industry 4.0.

In practice: On the basis of the policy framework, the thesis has introduced some key solutions of IT policy in the mining industry. Contribute to the improvement of science and technology management theory in general and IT management in particular; Point out the strengths and weaknesses in the issued IT policy of the Mining industry and the causes of that situation as a basis for proposing the IT policy framework of the Mining industry under the impact of Industry 4.0;

12. Practical applicability:

The thesis can be a reference for research as well as for information technology policy making for the Mining industry (application for Vietnam Coal-Mineral Industry Group).
