11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis

Analyzing, and evaluating the suitability of satellite and re-analyzed precipitations compared with the ground observation data to propose the best-fit rainfall data for river flow simulation on the Mekong River Basin;

Proposing and developing an integrated tool of a semi-distributed model (SWAT) with satellite and re-analyzed data to estimate the daily river discharge for the Mekong River basin in the poorly/ungauged regions.

Evaluating and proposing the Q~H functions at 20 locations located along the satellite's ground tracks (satellite altimetry water level measurements can be monitored) where the observed water level is not available to provide a quick assessment of the discharge for water resources estimations on the Mekong River Basin.

12. Paratical applicability, if any: To propose a method and the suitable satellite rainfall data to estimate the daily river discharge for the Mekong River basin in the poorly/ungauged regions.

13. Further research directions, if any: Futher researching on other satellites products (precipitation, evaporation, etc.) and assimilation methods to improve the simulation results of daily flow for data scarce/ungauged river basins.
