11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
       a. Studied on the preparation of new material γ-Al2O3-SDS-APDC (M1) to separate and enrich the trace amount of inorganic As (III), As (V), and γ-Al2O3-SDS-dithizon (M2) with the ability to enrich the trace mercury in aqueous medium.
       b. Separated for the first time As (III) from As(V) on the solid phase extraction column with the static phase M1. The results show that material M1 adsorbs well As(III) at pH = 3 but does not As(V). Applied the M1 material to enrich the trace amount of asen, the enrichment coefficient is 100 with the recovery factor higher than 98%, the adsorption capacity of As(III) on the extraction column is 20,83 ± 0,37 mg/g, and the material can be recycled about 6 times.
        c. ICP- MS method was applied to determine the total content of elements such as Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Zn, Cu, Pd, Cd in underground samples collected in Nam Tan village, Nam Sach District, Hai Duong in rain and dry seasons. The application of multivariate analysis methods to find out the sources of pollution and spreading ability of the pollution showed no evidence of pollution by elements such as Cu, Pb, Cd, Zn, Cr, Mn, but the present of Fe, As contamination in ground water was recognised as the result of geological composition. The contents of Fe, As have been diluted and flowed across northeastwards and southwestwards together with the current of the underground water.
12. Practical applicability, if any:
          - Determine the trace amount of As(III), As(V) and Hg(II) in aqueous medium.
          - ICP- MS method was applied to determine the total content of elements such as Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Zn, Cu, Pd, Cd in aqueous medium. The application of multivariate analysis methods to find out the sources of pollution and spreading ability of the pollution in the underground water.
 13. Further reseach directions:
           - Determine the trace heavy metal in food, determine fomat.
                - The application of multivariate analysis methods to find out the sources of pollution and spreading ability of the pollution in the different source.
