11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

As a systematic and uniformed research on theoretical and practical aspects of woman’s rights protection by criminal law, this dissertation achieved the following results:

- Been successful in building theoretical basis of protecting women's rights by criminal law, including: construction of scientific concept, identify features, methods and standards to protect the rights of women by criminal law.

- The first time systematized the formation and development of related regulations in Vietnam’s penal law, from the feudalist period to nowaday  and comparative study these provisions in the criminal law of several countries in the world in order to inherit inherit and acquire the legislative experiences.

- Analysis of the content of the regulations that protect the women's rights in the Criminal Code in 1999 to assess the limitations of these rules and practical application in the 10 years from 2007 to 2016; find out the cause of these limitations.

- Assess the related reforms and limitations in regulations of 2015 Criminal Code.

- Proposing a theoretical model for regulations relating the protection of women's right in order to continue perfecting these regulations in 2015 Criminal Code of Vietnam

- On the basis of the causes of limitation in pratical application of regulations relating the protection of women's right in Criminal Code, dissertation has put forward a set of solutions that can enhance the applicability of these regulations.

12. Practical applicability:

The findings, recommendations of the thesis provide an effective assistance for legislative work as well as the application of the criminal law in the current period in our country in order to improve the efficiency of protection of women's rights in particular and human rights in general by criminal law in Vietnam.

Besides, the dissertation serves as a good source of reference for other researchers, lawyers, lawmakers, lecturers and MA students and those who major in criminal judiciary in training facilities at undergraduate and postgraduate.

- Women’s rights protection by criminal procedure law;

- Women’s rights protection by law on execution of criminal judgements;

- Women’s rights protection by legal rules in criminal justice.
