11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

The result of this research provides 3 main findings: There is a conversed U shape relationship between institution ownership, foreign ownership, government ownership and profitability of listed companies. In particular, the optimal ratio of institution ownership is 52,89%, foreign ownership is 52,13% and government ownership is 57, 53%, followed that the return on asset (ROA) will be maximized

Under the shareholder’s perspective, the optimal ratio of institution ownership is 46,95%, foreign ownership is 74,15% and government ownership is 53, 3%, followed that the profitability of shareholders will be maximized.

12. Practical applicability:

- Based on research findings, the government could have policies to adjust the ownership structure in order to enhance profitability of listed company as well as the whole market.

- In the listed companies view, they could use the research findings and based on the characteristics of each industry to adjust the ownership structure in order to improve the profitability.
