Accordingly, 11 doctoral students are granted VND 100 million each and 20 post-doctoral trainees – VND 120 million each. The scholarship will be disbursed in two allotments. This is a significant support with a great impact that helps create breakthroughs in improving the quality and efficiency of VNU's training and scientific research activities.

Previously, on November 19, 2021, VNU President signed Decision No. 3688/QD-DHQGHN promulgating the Regulations on scholarship support for doctoral students and post-doctoral trainees at VNU. Through this decision, VNU will attract many good doctoral students and post-doctoral trainees to study and research at VNU. Therefrom, VNU's position and potential of science and technology will be improved; and VNU's influence and position in the Vietnamese and international higher education systems will also be maintained and strongly enhanced in the coming time.

VNU is the first public higher education institution in the country to pioneer in granting scholarships for post-doctoral trainees.
