The dissertation has made important contributions in terms of science and practice including:

- Clarifying some theoretical issues related to personality and the cultural personality.

- Offering a new perspective on Lee Kuan Yew's cultural personality holistically and dialectically.

- Analyzing of Lee Kuan Yew's cultural personality from the perspective of family and social relations as well as from the perspective of a country leader.

- Providing more sources of information about the life and career of Lee Kuan Yew, thereby clarifying the traits of Lee Kuan Yew's cultural personality - a typical cultural personality.

- Assisting readers with further understandings of the life and cultural personality of Lee Kuan Yew, thereby having an overview of Lee Kuan Yew's contributions to the development of Singapore.

- Being able to be used as a reference for learning and teaching about Southeast Asia in general and Singapore in particular.
