11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

- Objective of the resource: The thesis is carried out to find out the trend of non-agricultural household economic development in the North Central provinces of Vietnam. At the same time, the thesis proposes some viewpoints and solutions to promote non-agricultural household economic development in the provinces in the coming time.

- Scope of the research: The research object of the thesis is the development of non-agricultural household economy in the North Central provinces, Vietnam.

- Research Methodology: The thesis uses dialectical and historical materialist methodology. Simultaneously, it uses specific research methods: data collection methods (primary data, secondary data) and data analysis methods (scientific abstraction method; analysis - synthesis method; logical and historical method; method of descriptive statistics).

- Findings and practical applicability:

The thesis contributes to overview and further research on non-agricultural household economic development at the provincial level. Specifically, the thesis has clarified concepts related to non-agricultural household economic development, analyzed the manifestations of non-agricultural household economic development and the role of non-agricultural household economic development in the socialist-oriented market economy in Vietnam. In particular, the thesis clarifies the relationship of benefits, limitations of the market in non-agricultural household economic development at the provincial level and points out the necessity of the role of the provincial government in the development of non-agricultural household economy. At the same time, the thesis determines the content of non-agricultural household economic development at the provincial level, presents evaluation criteria and factors affecting the development of non-agricultural household economy at the level.

On the basis of a theoretical framework built on non-agricultural household economic development at the provincial level, along with secondary data collected from desk researches and primary data collected from surveys through questionnaires, the thesis analyze and assess the current situation of non-agricultural household economic development in the North Central provinces of Vietnam in the 2016-2020 period; at the same time, the thesis points out the problems that need to be solved in the development of non-agricultural household economy here. In particular, the thesis has pointed out the trend of non-agricultural household economic development in the region. On that basis, the thesis gives 04 viewpoints and proposes 09 solutions to promote non-agricultural household economic development in the North Central Coast of Vietnam in the coming time.

The research results of the thesis can be applied in making policies to promote non-agricultural household economic development in the North Central provinces of Vietnam. At the same time, the thesis is a reference for learning, teaching and scientific research at training institutions throughout the country towards the direction of research on household economic development.
