11. Summary of the new results of the thesis:

- The thesis has systematized the concepts and supplementing and developing theory about radio in general and companion radio in particular. The thesis has also examined the current radio public and given the characteristics of the current radio public. The thesis has generalized the characteristics and role of companion radio as a form of modern broadcasting, so that radio can accompany events and accompany listeners to update news quickly and closely. and develop news into hot issues and interact with the audience, treating the audience as a co-producer. On the basis of studying how to do companion radio of some radio stations in the world, the thesis has outlined experiences when applying companion radio in Vietnam.

- On the basis of the survey and assessment of the current status of the implementation of companion radio at Radio Voice of Vietnam, the thesis has pointed out the successes and limitations, the causes of the limited successes in implementation. companion radio in Vietnam.

- The thesis has pointed out issues that need attention when applying companion radio and proposed a system of general and specific solutions for companion radio application at the Voice of Vietnam.

- The results of the thesis contribute to the process of innovating radio production methods to match the current stage of social development and media development.

12. Pratical applicability of the thesis:

The thesis can be applied in the process of radio innovation in Vietnam, especially with News, Music, and Traffic channel.

13. Further research directions:

From the results of the thesis, the author can continue to study how the digital transformation process affects radio in general and companion radio in order to come up with possible solutions to continue radio innovation to better serve the public in the context of a changing media environment
