VNU Enrolment Plan in 2015

In 2015, VNU will use one competence assessment test at university entrance exams. Following is the detailed Enrolment Plan:

Candidates participating in the VNU entrance exams will have to pass through a competence assessment test organized in two rounds in May and late July. On the basis of the scores, VNU will  consider enrolling students from high to low scores (to the enrolment floor score prescribed by discipline and type of training). Overall high school graduation result is only a condition. All candidates who have passed the exams according to the scores of competence assessment entrance exams will be accepted to VNU after obtaining the graduating scores from high school as prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Candidates may take the exams in May before high school graduation exams to get the scores of competency assessment test. After VNU announces the candidates with enough scores for matriculation, the candidates graduated from high school will be accepted to VNU. As for candidates who only take the general exams but do not take part in the competency assessment test, VNU will organize a competency assessment test for them in July.

Students enrolling in the talent programs, international standards, (strategic tasks), learning and teaching in English, students must do language skills assessment test. Candidates who qualify for language skills qualification will be called for admission to these programs.

Candidates graduated from high school from previous years can also register for the competency assessment test for their admission to VNU.

Especially, as for VNU University of Languages and International Studies (VNU ULIS), candidates must do another additional language test for admission. The test subjects will be provided by VNU ULIS in English, Russian, French, Chinese, German and Japanese in conformity with the input requirements for each training program. VNU ULIS will identify the test floor points depending on each discipline, and then the passing scores of the foreign language will be the basis for considering matriculation
