100 students receive the Yamada scholarship (Japan)
January 12, 2012, VNU has awarded scholarships to 100 excellent students with the cost of 200 USD for each. Attending the ceremony is Assoc.Prof.Dr Dinh Van Huong – Director of Political-Students affairs department.

Yamada Foundation was established at 1989, whose purpose is to raise human resources contributing to a world peace. This scholarship focuses on students who enthusiastically participate in scientific research and social activities. From 1997 up to now, more than 700 VNU’s students have received scholarships with the total amount of money more than 140.000 USD.
At the ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr Dinh Van Huong states that this scholarship marks an important step in the cooperation between Yamada foundation and VNU. This contributes to the implementation of training and high quality researching mission that supplies human resource to the national modernization and industrialization.
