At the working session, the two sides discussed cooperation opportunities in many areas, especially in higher education, research & transfer, and application of scientific products. Apart from research and promotion support, VNU Vice President Lê Quân hopes that the French-speaking Community of Belgium and Wallonia region in Vietnam will take part in training and improving the qualifications of VNU’s faculty and staff as well as make it possible for VNU students to study and research at the universities in Wallonie-Bruxelles region.

  VNU Vice President Lê Quân suggested attending to commercialized products-oriented cooperative projects, educational innovation and VNU International Francophone Institute French training capacity enhancement project. VNU Vice President believes that the strengthening of cooperation with the Wallonie – Bruxelles Delegation is practical and for facilitating cooperative activities to further promote VNU’s cooperation with Wallonia region in particular and partners in Belgium in general.

   Mrs. Anne Lange said that Vietnam had always been a priority partner of Wallonie - Bruxelles. Wallonie - Bruxelles is willing to support VNU by admitting VNU students to study in Wallonie – Bruxelles, supporting and participating in training, research activities, especially in applying research products to everyday life.

   VNU has been in partnership with the Wallonie – Bruxelles Delegation for over 10 years. With the support and connection of the Wallonie - Bruxelles Delegation, the students of VNU Francophone Institute for Informatics have opportunities to do practicum at prestigious universities and businesses in Belgium such as Université de Namur and Haecon, Spacebel, European Schoolnet companies, etc. In addition, VNU’s affiliates have collaborated with Belgium partners in implementing a number of major international cooperation projects through the coordination of the Wallonie – Bruxelles Delegation.

   The Wallonie - Bruxelles Delegation is the representative body of the French-speaking Community of Belgium’s Government and Walloon Regional Government in Vietnam, operating to connect, promote and strengthen comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and the French-speaking Community of Belgium and Wallonia region, especially in culture, education and science domains.
