IPITEx is one of the biggest invention competitions in Asia. There were more than 1,000 inventions and more than 20,000 people come to attend. More than 1,500 inventors, 31 associations and 25 countries, including Vietnam, Poland, Czech Republic, China, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, United Arab Emirates most, Taiwan... participated and presented the inventions in the competition.

Research Institute of Creative Education (RICE) and the Institute of Skills Education and Creative Intelligence (ISECI) of the UEB held the ceremony to award students who won prizes at the IPITEx 2019. Attending the ceremony, there were Mr. Lee Ju Hyung - President of the Korea Association of Invention and Innovation, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Chu Dinh Thuy - Standing Vice Chairman of Vietnam Physics Association, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Truc Le - Rector of the UEB, Dr. Hoang Thu Ha - Principal of HES High School, Mr. Le Anh Tuan - Representatives of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

This year, Vietnam had 7 teams attending the IPITEx 2019 and 5 teams winning gold medals, 2 teams winning Silver medals. This is the best achievement of Vietnam so far.
