At the meeting, Prof. Hiroyasu Ohtsu presented the project on training human resources for post-disaster construction and recovery in ASEAN countries in the form of academic and staff/students exchanges. He also introduced the activities and courses conducted in Thailand to orient for the upcoming cooperation activities with VNU within the project framework.
In addition, the two sides discussed the content and specific process of lecturers/students exchange activity. Accordingly, Kyoto University would send some professors to give lectures to VNU students. VNU would select some outstanding students to study at Kyoto University and participate in the activities of the project while others could have opportunities to take part in the online courses.
