11. Summary of new findings of the thesis: 

The thesis, after being defended successfully, will be the first monograph in the legal science of research criminal procedure, deeply, comprehensively and systematically analyze theoretical and practical issues on demonstrative objects in criminal cases according to Vietnam's criminal procedure law. New contributions of the thesis include the following content:                                                  

Firstly, analyzing and clarifying theoretical issues about the demonstrative object in the criminal case such as: The concept and characteristics of the demonstrative object in the criminal cases; basis and meanings of the identification of demonstrative objects in criminal cases; contents and classification of demonstrative object in criminal cases;

Secondly, conduct studying criminal procedure law of some countries in the world on the demonstrative object, on that basis, comments and lessons learned for Vietnam in perfect finalization of the criminal procedural law on the demonstrative object;

Thirdly, conduct studying and evaluating the reality of identifying the demonstrative object in the criminal case of our country’s competent procedural authorities from 2009 to 2018, on such basis, showing results achieved and shortcomings and limitations that need to be overcome as well as the causes of those shortcomings and limitations; in which, clearly defining the inadequacies and limitations in the provisions of the criminal procedure law on what is the demonstrative objects in Vietnam at the present;

Fourthly, propose solutions that contribute to improving the effectiveness of the enforcement of Vietnam's criminal procedure law on the demonstrative objects in the current period in our country.

12. Practical applicability, if any:

The results of the research and the proposed solutions in the thesis will be a valuable reference for the completion of Vietnam's criminal procedure law on the demonstrative object; At the same time, it is a reference document for the authorities to select and apply solutions to overcome shortcomings and limitations in the practice of identifying the demonstrative objects of competent subjects for proceedings in the current period, on that basis, it is a contribution to improving the effectiveness in demonstration of the criminal case in general and identification of the demonstrative objects in the criminal case in particular.

13. Further research directions, if any: continually conduct to research contents that have not had conditions to deepen in the thesis, such as: The facts that are the demonstrative objects in criminal cases prescribed in criminal law; circumstances that are the demonstrative subjects of a criminal case shall be resolved according to special procedures; etc.
