The seminar was held with the goal of discussing the importance of financial education for children from an early age as well as the experience in organizing financial education at schools and at home for staff and lecturers throughout VNU. Simultaneously, "Let’s manage personal finance together" is a playground to experience and learn about financial concepts through educational games created by three lecturers from the VNU University of Economics and Business.

In the seminar, the speakers all emphasized the need to teach children about finance early at school and at home. According to Assoc.Prof.Dr. Do Tien Dat "The new general education program 2018 of MOET is going to integrate financial education content into the subjects for the children", so he appreciated the initiative of the “Financial Race” creators because this game will help children get acquainted with personal finance effectively without obscure theory. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Hoang Anh also believed that teaching children about personal finance is the right move when the State Bank is promoting financial universalization for people. Children are the future of the country, each child is going to be be a citizen uses a lot of financial services later, so they need to be instructed and equipped with financial knowledge and skills right from an early age.

In addition to the speeches, the discussion among parents was lively and engaging with hot issues such as how to make a child without rational thinking to distinguish between rich and poor when going to class? How to teach children about money when teachers and schools do not allow them to bring money to class?, etc.

At the end of the seminar, three authors of Financial Racing game introduced the goals and instructions on how to play the "Financial Race" in the most effective way. From the concern of teaching financial for children of the group members to appreciate money, to live with gratitude and love, the group always wishes to spread this knowledge to parents and students across the country. Through "Financial Race", children will actively learn the basic concepts of personal finance such as income, investment, spending and awards. Children also understand by what way money can be earned, some can make lots of money, some can only make little; there are also many ways to spend money and if you spend unwisely the money will run out. Awarding money does not necessarily mean it is lost and there are different forms of awarding and investment, some produce interest and some cause deficit; how to do business, how to earn trust, etc. A child also unconsciously understand they must know how to save because in life there are unexpected situations that they need to spend on; if they don’t save they will have to borrow or go bankrupt.

The content of the cards are familiar and close to each family's daily life so children can comprehend easily. The authors also emphasized on encouraging parents to spend time with children to strengthen the family bond so that they can gain more knowledge on finance.
