VNU improving capability of technology transfer, intellectual property

In the past year, within the framework of the project "Supporting the innovative entrepreneurial ecosystem up to 2025", VNU organized training courses in support of startups and innovative startups for lecturers and researchers, start-up staff and VNU students. Along with that is a series of support and post-training consulting conferences to provide necessary skills for start-up innovation activities and encourage entrepreneurship.

In addition, VNU cooperated with the Intellectual Property Office of Vietnam to organize intensive training courses for the staff of the Technology and Innovation Support Centres (TISC) in Vietnamese research institutes and universities; collaborated with the Institute of Intellectual Property Science (Ministry of Science and Technology) to organize 2 seminars to guide invention registration and exploitation at VNU.

Besides, VNU participated in a number of significant events to exhibit and introduce outstanding S&T research results of institutes, schools, scientists and non-professional inventors, which created an environment that linked science and technology with businesses, promoting the transfer of technical advances and scientific and technological achievements to production and life.

In 2019, VNU also participated in the major events organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, such as Techmart - Techfest Mekong 2019; Biotechmart 2019; and TECHFEST 2019.
