- Clarify the guidelines and direction measures of the Politburo, the Central Military Commission, and the General Staff, thereby contribute to asserting the proactive and creative leadership and direction of Vietnam Labor Party Central Committee in implementing the Vietnam-Laos coalition during the war against the US.

- Reproduce honestly and comprehensively all military activities of the Vietnam-Laos coalition on the Vietnam and Laos battlefields during the war against the US; thereby contribute to highlighting the noble international spirit of the Party, State, Army and people of Vietnam and Laos.

- Analyze and clarify the great significance of the unity of the Vietnam-Laos coalition, thereby draw valuable experience lessons which can be applied in constructing and protecting the country nowadays.

- Systematize data related to Vietnam-Laos coalition
