Promoting training and research cooperation with Osaka Prefecture University
On October 28, 2016, VNU Vice President Nguyễn Hoàng Hải welcomed and had a working session with Osaka Prefecture University (OPU - Japan) Vice President Minoru Ishii.

VNU and OPU have been implementing cooperation activities in high quality human resources training, scientific research and other academic exchanges. Currently, OPU is cooperating with the Material chemistry technology and clean energy research team headed by Prof.Dr.Sc. Lưu Văn Bôi from VNU University of Science in research and research publications.

Highly appreciating the obtained cooperation results, VNU Vice President Nguyễn Hoàng Hải proposed OPU to expand its cooperation fields to support other research teams. He also expected Vice President Minoru Ishii to connect VNU Vietnam - Japan University with other Japanese universities as well as cooperate with VJU in opening new training programs.

Expressing his pleasure and honor to pay a working visit to VNU, OPU Vice President Minoru Ishii proposed the two universities to discuss and agree on high in-demand and completive fields for further bilateral training and research cooperation. He also hoped for promoting the teaching and learning of Japanese in addition to English for VNU students and advised that OPU would provide undergraduate and graduate scholarships for Vietnamese students in general and VNU’s students in particular to study in Japan.
