On March 12th 2021, the Center for Education Accreditation - Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-CEA) organized the opening ceremony of the Actual Site Visit to assess 04 programs of Hung Yen University of Technology and Education (UTEHY) including Engineer of Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Automotive Technology engineers and Information Technology.
The delegations joined the event: representatives of VNU-CEA was Dr. Dinh Van Toan - Vice Director; Assessment team leader Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Duc and members; from Hung Yen University of Technology and Education were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Trung Thanh - Rector and Dr. Nguyen Minh Quy - Board’s President along with their staffs.
The site assessment took place from March 12th to 16th 2021. In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, VNU-CEA has increased the use of online evidences and has arranged online interviews with students, alumni, employers, lecturers…. The implementation of online interviews was coordinated and supported by the University, the procedures are closely guided, referenced from the AUN-QA procedures to authenticate assessment activities with reality and objectivity and ensure safety in preventing Covid-19.
At the closing ceremony of the Actual Site Visit held on March 16th 2021, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Duc and Assessment Team Members presented the preliminary results and findings of the external assessment report of 04 programs of UTEHY. After that, Rector of UTEHY Dr. Bui Trung Thanh thanked the Assessment Team for working seriously, responsibly and dedicated to making the most comprehensive and objective assessments to the UTEHY.
Attending the closing ceremony, the Standing Vice Director of VNU-CEA, Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien expressed her appreciation and gratitude for the enthusiasm, dedication and efforts of the Assessment Team Leader and members, thanked leaders and staffs of UTEHY for supporting assessment team.
