Speaking at the event, the Belarusian Minister of Education affirmed that the country was striving to meet all modern educational standards. Higher education in Belarus is structured based on the labor market’s needs and combined with practice-oriented basic training. Fifty higher education institutions in the Republic of Belarus are ready to offer from-bachelor-to-doctorate training programs, capacity building programs, professional skills development programs, summer courses, Russian language courses, distance training, training in English. Therefore, through the first "Belarusian Education Day", the organizers hope to introduce learning opportunities and experiences in this country to Vietnamese learners.
Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Van Phuc highly appreciated the contribution of the "Belarusian Education Day" to the promoting of the traditional relations between the two countries as well as creating opportunities for leading educational institutions to explore a wider cooperation potential. He also raised expectations about 5 main cooperation possibilities, including strengthening training links; student exchange; lecturer exchange; forming international research groups and concretizing the signed bilateral cooperation activities.
