In the spirit of "mutual love", VNU VIBERs has joined hands with benefactors in donating 4,600 notebooks, 4,600 A-shaped pens, 500 ballpoint pens, 90 sets of books for grades 6,7,8, 160 Informatics textbooks for grades 8 and 9, 50 warm blankets, 200 stainless steel bowls, 700 pairs of chopsticks, 100 soup ladles, soccer balls, badminton rackets; candies for students and ao dais for teachers, among others, with a total value of nearly 90 million VND to Ta Mung Ethnic Minority Semi-Boarding Secondary School.

VNU VIBERs and Lai Chau Newspaper Trade Union present gifts to students of Ta Mung Ethnic Minority Semi-Boarding Secondary School
Dr. Nguyen Thi Anh Thu, Director of VNU Department of Cooperation and Development, Head of VNU VIBERs, said that in early September, hundreds of ao dais under the program "Ao dai: Give to get" – an initiative by lecturers from VNU VIBERs, were given to the first-year students of VNU University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Participating in the program "Ta Mung – back to school", VNU VIBERs wishes to keep on bringing core values to the community in many different forms, in addition to the main mission of training and teaching.
Dr Thu said, "In order to share the difficulties and hardships with parents and students in Ta Mung commune, Than Uyen district, VNU VIBERs has called on benefactors to donate textbooks, school supplies, notebooks, warm blankets, boarding supplies, soccer balls, badminton rackets, candies, etc. Although the gifts are not of great material value, they are the affection by VNU VIBERs and benefactors that encourages students to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies to later become useful citizens for the country, and to build an increasingly prosperous homeland. We also hope the teachers will strive to overcome difficulties to contribute to the highlands education."
