11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

- Labour productivity in the tourism service sector of Da Nang city is on a increasing trend but the growth rate is slowing down during the research period.

- Labour force and Added value are still in the period of strong growth, so labor productivity can still be improved with appropriate solutions.

- Internal factors of the enterprise have direct impacts on the level of labor productivity improvement

- External factors to the enterprise have indirect impacts on the level of labour productivity improvement

- Influential factors belonging to the important group on the improvement of labour productivity of hotel enterprises include factors in group B (very important) and group A (important).

12. Further research directions:

- Larger scale survey for all categories of hotels or tourism enterprises in Da Nang City

- Further studies need to be carried out synchronously and completed on a broader scale or can be carried out across many economic sectors/fields in order to find macroscopic research results.
