11. Summary of thesis findings:

- Developed and proposed a general knowledge system of justice science on urban government structure in central cities in response to the national industrialization and modernization demands. Specific groups of issues were discussed including: urban management, urban government structure, demands of industrialization and modernization for the completion of urban government structure .

- Provided a factual overview of urban government in central cities from law perspectives, then found a lesson learned on the relation between roles, position of government structure and criteria for sustainable urban development in central cities from the year 1945 up to now; combined with international experience in urban management so as to improve the completion of urban government structure.

- Industrialization – modernization (urbanization) are criteria for defining the justification basis of government structure in central cities at the current stage. Proposed application of the model of urban government structure in central cities in response to national industrialization and modernization demands.

12. Ability for practical application:

Thesis findings can be used as reference materials for research activities in research and training institutes (especially on the state organization); reference document for those whose works directly involve in state management in urban area. 

13. Further research:

In addition to the theoretical and factual issues on urban government structure that the author had researched and reflected in this thesis, there existed  some more which needs to continue to study on. They are specifically: conception of urban management towards civilization and modern in the specific context of Viet Nam; state management responsibilities on urban and participation of non-state organizations into the urban management; concrete responsibilities of the urban government structure for implementing citizen’s basic rights in urban area, civil society in the context of Viet Nam. The operational mechanism of local government in urban area based on the national industrialization and urbanization demands. Risk prevention in urban area and roles of state government in urban area; reform and change management in renovation of urban government with full of internal force and capability.
